The Crescent Stone
a novel by Grace McNally
Taylor wishes for nothing more than to run away from her backwoods town and free herself
from the controlling grasps of her constantly changing foster parents, until the unexpected discovery of a mysterious stone,
makes her wish she could have her old life back.
After moving across the country, to a new home, and loving Grandparents, she finds herself with
mysterious powers, ones which the stone has given her, and pinned in a battle between a power-hungry, war-mongering Major,
and a cold, distant Professor with his alienated gargoyle orphans.
Struggling with her own morality, Taylor, unknowingly, must decide
the fate of mankind.
